Send Me Therefore.

#Ohio Yes we are back in Ohio. Arizona became too expensive for us to actually live and do anything. Rent in Arizona is just as bad as if you had an apartment in L.A. We received our tax return and with the help from my brother and dad we drove back to Ohio. Currently we are co-living with my other brother and his wife. Been in Ohio a couple months now and things aren't too bad. Changed jobs, once again, this time for the better. I feel as if I am starting from the bottom. We have no reserve at the moment. I feel as if the whole last year was a series of tests brought upon us to teach us Faith, Trust, and Obedience. (Sorry not pixie dust, This isn't Neverland.) When my dad showed up to help drive the truck I told him I felt like Jonah, and he said how do you mean? When we travelled through Ohio on the way out my one brother said, "You know you don't have to go any further." I answered and said, "Nope, I'm moving to Arizona." Then we made it to my sister-in-law's house and my wife's uncle said, "This is a nice location, we could stop here and I'll just fly back to Phoenix." By last Summer I fought God on the subject of Ohio many times. In the same regard as Jonah fighting about going to Nineveh, we often fight God on the best decision for us to follow in life. I fought going to Ohio so much that it almost put my family unit into a jeopardized position in an unfamiliar place with no built support circles. After getting to Ohio, however, we jumped in on helping with things we didn't really think of doing before. I can get to know my newest sister-in-law better, my youngest sibling better and we are closer to all of both our families. When God said, "Leave your family and cleave unto your wife" I don't think he meant leave them and don't ever associate with them ever again. Which is almost what it seemed like we were doing. So here we are in Ohio, in the county I grew up in, ready for God's major restart in life. Pray for us as we start our next chapter.
