So partial college and now I needed a job and my license. I wasn't sure what to do. I absolutely did not want to work in fast food. The computer shop couldn't take me on for pay. So, I filled out a few applications.
One day at the library the librarian mentioned that the dog pound was looking for somebody to handle the office. I applied.
I didn't know what I was all getting into but I needed a job that could work with me in my new skills.
The Dog Pound needed somebody to answer phones, update their social media, and take care of the dogs brought in.
It was a good job. This is where I started to really get tested by God. My Uncle in Upstate NY had offered if I ever wanted to get out of Mom and Dad's house he had a place for me. I fought the idea for 2 years before giving in and trusting God. No job waiting for me and just got my license at 23 years old. I had no plan and No job and No car. I packed up all the things I really needed to get started and moved to NY in the first week of June 2015. I was totally trusting God had a plan for me. 1 month after moving to NY I had a car and a job. I started as a temporary worker at a job that would be my longest job working the next 7 years.
