Sister, Sister

I have two sisters. Complete opposites. My older sister is one year older than me and very funny. I have always thought she was humorous in some way or another. She makes me laugh when I least expect it whether she intends to or not. Sometimes just hearing about what her kids did today is enough to make me smile. I haven't been around the two younger ones hardly at all but I love to hear the funny stories. Just as I was about to write this post my older sister called me. No new news, no particular reason, she just wanted to call and say hi. My younger sister is the baby of the family and just witty goof like us boys. She was always a joy to be around. She has a big dream and I hope that it is God's will for her to fulfill that dream. She wants to be a veterinarian and I hope one day I can call her Doctor. As I had mentioned before they are complete opposites, but they do have some significant similarities. They both like people and talking your ear off. They are both talented in their own ways. I am thankful for the people that they are because each in their own way make me feel loved as a brother. These two are my biological sisters, but I have had some friends that I have considered sisters. Being that my older sister always had friends, and I was very shy for the most part. All the friends we were around were mostly girls. Though some took her word over trying to get to know me, found out later in life that I was pretty nice guy. Many that I liked had gotten married and I still to this day consider them to be another one of my sisters. All different and all very wonderful people with beautiful families. If it was not for my older sister I would not have these friends. As for my younger sister she has always just been a ball of joy. When I left home she was about 8 years old and it didn't hit her as hard. When my family and I moved to Arizona, that hit her really hard and it was the first time I had hugged her and she cried when I said goodbye. We don't realize who we leave behind still has a life even when we are not a part of it as much as we used to be. If you have a sister remember all the good things that happened and forgive all the bad, and I promise that it will be a much smoother relationship.
